We have just returned from Montalto (after a long drive back to the Hague on Saturday 13 Aug '05). We had such a lovely time staying at your beautiful "village", (photographs just do not do it justice) that we were very sad to leave. When you stay somewhere that makes you feel so relaxed that you think you have always been there is truly a good sign & never have we slept so deeply - either the wine or the clean, fresh air - I think the latter! We have already started talking about a family holiday there next year.....so you could be seeing us again + entourage. Many thanks again for your hospitality, we shall return.

Ciao tutti!! I was just surfing along with my 3 year old son, showing him some pictures of his Grandma Jeanne at our wedding back in 1999. We stayed at Montalto back in April of 1999, and have the fondest and freshest of memories. Since our wedding and our first Italian visit we have had the pleasure of visiting Europe one additional time in the spring of 2001. In 2002 our son, Eliot, was born, and in 2004 our daughter, Amelia, was born. We had a tough time picking names... and Siena was on our short list for a long time! Dear Jason and Penny, thank you for inaugurating our guestbook. It was nice to hear about the progress on your family. Since you were married here we feel somewhat responsible for it !!
I am sad to say that last year Dylan left us and was substituted by Leo, another German Shepard equally nice.
