Montalto has various spaces for meetings, lessons and seminars. The meeting rooms on the ground level of San Giovanni can hold up to 40 people banquet-style or 60 classroom-style, The large hall of the Granaio holds up to 120.

For business groups, Montalto can offer a total of 15 bedrooms with private bath and 7 with shared bathroom. A meeting room can be set up either as a small lecture hall (up to 50 seats) or with chairs around a large table (seats 16 comfortably). The many opportunities for leisure activities and the non-commercial setting make the castle an ideal location for incentive premiums and seminars.

Workshops can be organized on request, with laboratory space available. For example, Montalto has hosted in the past a workshop on earth-fired pottery and, for eight years now, a chamber music workhop. We also offer a regular one-day cooking class.

We will be happy to provide expert teachers for courses in Tuscan cooking, Italian language, history of art, sketching and watercolour painting, ceramic decoration, horseback riding (English mount), herbs and wildflowers: all that is required is a core group of at least 6-8 people interested in the course.

While every house and apartment has its own kitchen and Montalto does not have a restaurant, cooking can be provided for special groups, full or half-pension or special dinners. Daily room service can also be arranged. We can set up tours to points of interest and provide airport transfers as required.
